Blacksmiths were the first tradespeople brought into the region, and they worked creating custom items and performing repairs. Iron is durable, strong, and also light despite its strength, allowing for a variety of uses. It was affordable and used in vehicles, hardware, tools, and horseshoes. When heated, iron is quite malleable, which allows it to be easily hammered into many different items. Handcrafted by a Village blacksmith.
