This 36" square sheer cotton mull handkerchief has been reproduced by Burnley & Trowbridge from an original in the Susan Greene Collection. The original dates between 1830-1850, with its black and red roller design or plate-print. Bunches of cherries or red flowers repeat around the edges between sprigs of leafy foliage, rendered in an intricate hand-printed stippling. This handkerchief is hand finished, and printed on a hand-loomed sheer cotton mull fabric. Perfect for 19th century historic interpretation or everyday wear!
